MSI Technology
Material Stiffness Integration, MSI, is the main design concept by which Graphite Design develops it premium golf shafts. Composite materials consist of two main components, graphite fibers and resin. The stiffness of the many different fiber types that Graphite Design utilizes has an impact on how the shaft profile bends in relation to the player’s input during the swing. The resin not only helps to maintain the structural integrity of the shaft but also acts more like a sponge, absorbing unwanted vibrations to help create the exquisite feel that Graphite Design shafts are so well known for.
By using proprietary design formulas and a combination of different materials that vary in stiffness, resin content and fiber volume, Graphite Design is able to design shafts that results in superior feel when compared to other shaft manufactures and deliver the Perfect ACCURACY and Pure DISTANCE that golfers desire in a shaft.
